Press is a WordPress theme built by me and the Edge Webware team. Designed and Developed for Maria Gossard Designs, Press has a clean and classy look that highlights photography. April, another Edge Webware designer, and I designed this theme together, and I took the lead on developing the code while the whole Edge Webware team contributed in their areas of expertise. This theme is available for future Edge clients to choose, and once it is chosen either I or another Edge designer will customize the template for the new client's content and branding.

Coding a template has a unique set of challenges to keep in mind. Your code has to work not only for the current content, but also be easily adaptable to the next client's needs. Using variables for colors and typography elements for instance speeds up the customizing process and saves money in the future so programmers only have to be edit the code in one spot while effecting global changes.
