Authorized Retailer Page Redesign

For this page redesign, Crutchfield was looking to upgrade their plain text presentation to something more inviting. Working together with a copywriter, our first priority was to break the text down into more manageable sections. We also incorporated a way for customers to easily start shopping from this page by including the “Shop our popular categories” component. From past user tests on Crutchfield’s home page, another location where this component appears, we know customers react positively to these icons and categories.

After reviewing the first round of prototypes with stakeholders, the feedback received was that it would be beneficial to bring human elements into the design, which we accomplished by adding photos of Crutchfield employees illustrating each of the three reasons customers should buy from an authorized retailer. The final design pictured below, which I coded using HTML, SCSS, and Bootstrap, is a combination of existing Crutchfield brand elements and new elements I introduced during the design phase of this project.
